Highland Park 25 (OB)


Sample 5/12 of the May tasting set



Initial Nose: Light sweet peat that covers everything, nutmeg, peaches, pears, honey, apricots, slight cheese notes, nuts


Nosing after time: Honey apricots and almonds come to the front, slight coffee grounds/tobacco, hint of cheese (Maybe this is how I recognise the highland peat), more floral notes at the end are coming through which is really nice.


Palate: Sweet smoke that develops into pepper, sweet cream notes but with a savoury element, similar to light cream cheese, hint of oranges and red apples, sweet tobacco


Finish: Cream cheese, almost pastry like, slight coco powder
