Sample 4/12 of the May tasting set

Initial Nose: Musk on the forefront with berry compote, blackcurrants, wine gums, stem ginger, varnish

Nosing after time: Nose tones down into red fruits, syrup and honey, red chilis, toasted buttered wheat bread. Mint and eucalyptus come forward after more time in the glass

Palate: Spices, pepper, savoury smoke, oak spices, beautiful jammy blackcurrant and berry notes

Finish: Drying, chewy sherry soaked wood, salt, sweet tobacco, hint of menthol

Wonderful sherry notes come through without being too overpowering. Very tasty and savoury on the palate.
